In this elementary tutorial I will explain how to transfer you BotW save file from your WiiU or Cemu to the Switch.

1) Grab yous WiiU BotW savegame, you tin can use SaveMii if you employ a WiiU, or if you use Cemu, go to:
US: Cemu\mlc01\usr\save\00050000\101c9400\user\80000001
EUR: Cemu\mlc01\ usr\save\00050000\101c9500\user\80000001

This is how your BotW save file should look similar:

2) Now we demand to convert the savegame, or it won't work with the Switch.
(Make sure both versions of BotW take the same update version)

Download this tool:
https://github.com/WemI0/BOTW_SaveConv/releases

Move it into the savegame folder:

Run it, and press "y" to outset the conversion. (PS: Make a fill-in of your savegame binder, information technology will overwrite the files)

Await a bit, and once the conversion finished, you lot should see that:

Delete "BOTW_SavConv.exe" from the savegame folder.

3) Now we can start the injection, boot into atmosphere, and use checkpoint to inject the saves:

This is admittedly fantastic.
I was able to transfer my BOTW one.five with DLC save files from my wiiu to my switch successfully on five.0.2. We are living in the golden historic period!

I tried this solution but I'thousand having trouble to understand how the script works ( and the whole process for the transfer).
Can someone explain to me how it works exactly? ( if you have a video that explains information technology, it would be great).

Extract your switch BOTW Savegame with Checkpoint Homebrew for Switch https://github.com/BernardoGiordano/Checkpoint/releases . Its the all-time and easiest way!

Subsequently Backup your salvage, put your SD into your PC and re-create your switch botw savegame to your PC. Brand Backup for purposes!

Later that you have a folder like this:

After that download the Save Converter: https://github.com/WemI0/BOTW_SaveConv/releases

- Put the .exe in that folder like OP did.

- Open the .exe and it volition inquire if y'all want to convert.

- Enter "Y" and it will shou a bulletin like "Switch Savegame detectet - will convert at present to Wii U Savegame"

- Afterward the convertion is washed you can open your Save with a editor like: https://www.marcrobledo.com/savegame-editors/zelda-botw/

- Save that edited savegame in your save binder and start the converter again and it volition shou a message like "Wii U Savegame detectet - will convert at present to Switch Savegame"

- Later on that is washed, put your edited save files to SD, start Checkpoint Homebrew. Go to BOTW and press "RESTORE" Button. Close Checkpoint and Homebrew Menu - you did information technology! ;-)

Showtime BOTW and enjoy crazy Gameplay like I practice.

Durability set up to maximum. The Attack of all Weapons are +4000. It's a little bit overkill - but I like information technology.

Thanks for your help. But I'm for the moment having an issue to install the HomeBrew with the paperclip. Does anyone have a ameliorate solution than the paperclip or the 3D jig?
